Washington Redskins safety Sean Taylor has died, one day after he was shot in the leg by an assailant who apparently broke into his home in the Miami suburb of Palmetto Bay.
Family friend Richard Sharpstein said Taylor’s father called him around 5:30 a.m. ET Tuesday to tell him the news.
