Fantasy Quarterback Rankings Updated 2008

by Kori Ellis on August 16th, 2008

While running backs are usually the position you draft first in a fantasy football draft, quarterbacks are oftentimes responsible for how your fantasy team does in a given week. In 2008, there are many quality fantasy quarterbacks available in the draft. Here is our updated list of the top ten fantasy quarterbacks for the 2008 fantasy football season:

1. Tom Brady - Despite Brady’s injury, he remains on the top.
2. Tony Romo - With T.O. on his side, expect greatness.
3. Drew Brees - His value continues to rise in recent weeks.
4. Peyton Manning - With several question marks, Manning falls.
5. Carson Palmer - Palmer has a high ceiling but there is risk.
6. Ben Roethlisberger - Big Ben could surprise in 2008.
7. Derek Anderson - Another high risk, high reward selection.
8. Matt Hasselbeck - Expect another above average season.
9. David Garrard - Will try to build on his 2007 season.
10. Donovan McNabb - If healthy, McNabb is still capable.

Wow, Peyton manning 4th, that’s a gutsy call.

I can’t really argue though, Romo is money and Drew Brees is going to see a huge increase in stats with Shockey and Meachem on the field.

I’d like to see Eli Manning on this list but I guess I’m biased :-)
