Fantasy Football Week 14: Injury Report
QB Philip Rivers, San Diego Chargers - Rivers hurt his knee against the Tennessee Titans, but later returned for the Chargers. While he was able to finish the game, check the injury reports this week to see if he’s going to play next week. If he can’t play, Billy Volek will start at quarterback for San Diego.
QB Trent Dilfer, San Francisco 49ers - Dilfer suffered a head injury at the end of the first half on a fourth down play. Dilfer was replaced by Shaun Hill, who actually played very well for the Niners. Even if Dilfer is healthy enough to play next week, there’s a good chance that Hill will get the nod as the starter.
RB Willis McGahee, Baltimore Ravens - McGahee got hurt in the first quarter of the game against the Indianapolis Colts. He later returned from what is being described as a leg injury. If you are a McGahee owner, keep an eye open for the latest developments. If McGahee doesn’t play next week, expect Musa Smith to get the start in his place.
TE Tony Gonzalez, Kansas City Chiefs - Gonzalez suffered an ankle injury in the Chiefs blowout loss against the Denver Broncos. However, Gonzalez was able to return to action later in the game. Be sure to check on Gonzalez this week to see how much he practices heading into next week’s game.
