The Fantasy Kickoff - Fantasy Football Tips

Fantasy Football 2007 Pro Bowl Team

by Kori Ellis on February 10th, 2008

With the NFL’s Pro Bowl game to be played on Sunday, here’s a look at the fantasy football Pro Bowl team of 2007

QB Tom Brady, New England Patriots
Brady passed for 50 touchdowns. That’s all you need to know why he’s the easy pick for the fantasy football Pro Bowl starting quarterback gig. If you had Tom Brady on your team in 2007, you had a very success fantasy season.

RB LaDainian Tomlinson, San Diego Chargers
The top pick in most 2007 fantasy football drafts lived up to expectations. LaDainian Tomlinson led NFL running backs in rushing yards (1474) and rushing touchdowns (15). Going into 2008, Tomlinson again will be the top pick in most leagues.

WR Randy Moss, New England Patriots
With Tom Brady on fire, Randy Moss was the recipient of a lot of that heat. He finished the season with 1493 yards and a record 23 touchdown receptions. If he re-signs with the Patriots, expect him to again produce well.

Moss Highlights …

TE Tony Gonzalez, Kansas City Chiefs
While a lot of tight ends had great seasons, we’ll give the nod to Tony Gonzalez. He led tight ends in both receptions (99) and yards (1172). Gonzalez proved that age is just a number. In 2008, there’s a chance he could do it all over again.

K Mason Crosby, Green Bay Packers
The Packers came into the season relying on a rookie kicker and came out of the season with a kicker who should be on the team for a long time. If Mason Crosby isn’t the best young kicker in the league, he sure fooled a lot of people in 2007.

D New York Giants
With the great performance the Giants had in the Super Bowl, their defense deserves this award. The Giants strong suit on defense in 2007 was their amazingly talented defensive line and their gutsy defensive coordinator Steve Spagnuolo.
