Where should you draft your fantasy defense in a fantasy football draft? To answer that question, you should first see where defenses are going in an average 2008 fantasy football draft. Here is a look at the average draft position for fantasy defenses so far in 2008:

San Diego Chargers - Beginning of the 9th round.
Minnesota Vikings - Middle of the 9th round.
New England Patriots - Middle of the 10th round.
Dallas Cowboys - Middle of the 10th round.
Indianapolis Colts - End of the 11th round.

Chicago Bears - Beginning of the 12th round.
Pittsburgh Steelers - Middle of the 12th round.
New York Giants - Middle of the 13th round.
Baltimore Ravens - End of the 13th round.
Tennessee Titans - Beginning of the 14th round.

    New England and San Diego have the 1st and 3rd easiest fantasy schedule for defenses based on last season’s numbers. Minnesota has the 23rd easiest. Keep this in mind when rounds 9 and 10 roll around and you are considering nabbing one of these top defenses.
