Donovan McNabb Injury Update - Fantasy Impact
Donovan McNabb, the starting quarterback for the Philadelphia Eagles, is suffering from shoulder tendinitis. Due to the tendinitis, McNabb will likely be forced to sit out the week of workouts the Eagles have planned.
The 31-year-old McNabb has struggled with injuries in the past few seasons. He hasn’t played a full 16 games since 2003. In the last three years, he has missed 15 games.
McNabb was very impressive during the 2006 season but struggled for most of the 2007 campaign. Last year, the Eagles’ quarterback finished with 3,324 yards and 19 touchdowns in 14 starts.
If McNabb suffers more injury woes this year, second-year quarterback Kevin Kolb could get his shot at quarterback for Philadelphia. Kolb has impressed coaches and he’s considered the team’s quarterback of the future.
