Chris Johnson Stats
The East Carolina Pirates and Chris Johnson got off to a slow start in 2007. However, both the Pirates and Johnson ended up improving as the season went on. Johnson’s breakthrough game was a game at Memphis where he had 301 yards rushing and four touchdowns. On the season, Johnson had 1,423 rushing yards and 17 rushing touchdowns. He also had 528 yards receiving with six receiving touchdowns.
Chris Johnson Analysis
At 5-foot-11 and 195 pounds, Chris Johnson is a very strong running back who still has room to get quite a bit stronger. The best thing about Johnson is his ability to catch passes. Some scouts believe that he could even survive at wide receiver in certain sets. With more and more teams wanting versatile running backs, someone will take a chance and pick Johnson.
Chris Johnson Fantasy Projections
Although Chris Johnson has a chance to have a good NFL career, he’s likely never going to be a workhorse running back. He’s more of a third down back who can also come in for a series or two as a change of pace back.
